About Our School

Most girls join the school in Nursery, aged 3+ and spend eight years in the school with the final departure at the end of Year 6. We strive to develop independent thinkers who have a love of learning and the focus to achieve their goals in the 11+ examinations.

As we are a non-selective school, classes are of mixed ability, which brings a wealth of various talents into a classroom.

The side gate is opened at 8.15am, which benefits our many parents who work in the city, or for those who may need a later start; our form-time is from 8.30am till 9.00am, allowing us to cater for all our families' busy schedules.

The school day finishes at 3.15pm for our Reception girls and 3.30pm for the rest of the school. Parents with girls in Nursery have the option of a half-day or a full-day.

Every class has their own form teacher for the academic year and the Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 classes have their own trained classroom assistant.
