The History of 'West London's Most Creative Preparatory School'
The Falcons School for Girls became part of the Alpha Plus Group at the turn of the century. Previously, the school was known as Beacon House, a co-educational school which specialised in Early Years provision. Now firmly established as a school for girls aged 3-11 - and with a growing reputation as 'West London's Most Creative Preparatory School' - we are housed in a grand Victorian house with the addition of a dedicated Nursery, Music room and Art/Science studio.
In 2012-13, we are beginning to transform our school by building the 'Classroom of the Future' at the front of the school. This includes creative furniture, a green screen and a dedicated animation station.
The Falcons School for Girls is a non-selective independent school for girls. We believe that school life should be valued for itself and not only as a preparation for adulthood. At the heart of the school's aims is the intellectual, cultural and social development of all of our girls. We aim to provide a safe environment for all our pupils, staff and visitors, and maintain effective partnerships between them.
The school aims to provide a gold standard of education:
- Leadership can be seen at every level of the school, contributing to a culture of excellence;
- The school and our resources are maintained and updated to a high standard;
- Teachers adapt their delivery of the curriculum to reflect every girl's individual learning needs;
- Parents are genuinely valued partners in the education process;
- Girls are prepared for entry to the Senior School which will best meet their learning needs and future development.

Achieve economic well-being
We aim to provide a stimulating, safe, friendly and caring environment in which every girl is able to develop her talents.
Our aspiration is to become recognised as West London's Most Creative Preparatory School.
We believe that all girls need the support of parents to make good progress in school. The Falcons Girls regards effective and two-way communication with parents as vitally important. We strive to build positive links with the parents of each girl by keeping them informed about the way in which the girls are being taught and the progress which they are making.
We welcome children from all religions and faiths. The school itself is non-denominational.
