Winners: World Maths Day Competition

The Falcons School for Girls is delighted to announce that two Year Six pupils have been chosen as the winners of the 2010 Mathletics UK World Maths Day Video Challenge Competition.

Mathletics invited schools across the UK to submit videos promoting World Maths Day.

Year Six wrote, shot and edited promotional videos, using iMovie on our Apple Mac laptops. The finished videos were uploaded onto our school YouTube channel, FalconsTube.

On May 17th, Mathletics selected one of our pupil videos as the winner - and they will be using this video to help promote World Maths Day 2011.
